You nailed it. You are still an early adopter and certainly ahead of the mass market. However, we agree that the winner in this space will present users the best information possible without demanding extra attention from them.
You can do cool things like create channels that filter for certain keywords. You can give it hundreds of feeds, it automatically sorts/groups/tags them for you.
If other people are reading the same feeds you can create a sort of mini-digg where you can see the most popular articles amongst friends etc.
